Varsego
Varsego, a nationwide wholesaler of ice cream and food, needed a fast and user-friendly B2B e-commerce platform to manage complex orders from retailers. Toxic developed a customized solution on the e-commerce platform Litium with integration to their business system for real-time updates of prices, inventory levels, and customer-specific terms. Furthermore, the new site was built by Toxic with a strong focus on UX design, where an SEO and CRO analysis forms the basis for the final design and development.
Varsego x Toxic
We believe that the project with Varsego is a very good example of how we at Toxic want to work with our clients; close to the customer with a focus on creating value and turning vision into reality. In this film, our friends at Varsego talk about the challenge, the solution, the result, and the impact of their new e-commerce. Psst, spoiler alert – Varsego increased their total sales by over 20% in the first year. Watch the film to get the whole story.
The challenge
The client saw a need to renew their graphic identity to attract new customers and improve the customer experience. They also saw a need to simplify and automate the flow related to the web to reduce the manual handling in everything from new customer registration to EDI orders from external systems.
The solution
To meet the customer's wishes, the choice of platform fell on Litium, which offers CMS, PIM, and e-commerce in the same solution. Toxic focused on clarifying the offering through clear product categories, highlighted campaigns, and a focus on the product range. In the new solution, developed by Toxic, easy registration for new customers is offered through Briqpay.
Most integrations were made by Toxic to create a seamless flow for order and inventory management as well as payment solutions. We at Toxic also integrated a search engine for a better customer experience. Furthermore, the new site was built with a strong focus on UX design, where an SEO and CRO analysis forms the basis for the final design and development.
The result
The result is a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform, developed in close collaboration between Toxic and Varsego, with the customer in focus and offering everything and a little more. As a customer of Varsego, you can easily navigate the menu. You get a clear overview of active campaigns and product range. A new feature that further enhances the customer experience is the ability to create personal shopping lists that are saved in "My Pages." The e-commerce site also offers personalization of the site depending on customer type. The site was built with B2B as the target audience but provides the same shopping experience as a B2C e-commerce. In summary, Varsego now has an e-commerce site built by Toxic, with the best technology on the market and with a new graphic identity, they are equipped to meet both new and old customers and deliver first-class service.
