Last week we traveled to Copenhagen for this year's edition of Codegarden, Umbraco's annual conference and the natural gathering point for the entire global Umbraco community. Two days of talks, Umbraco Awards, and that special atmosphere that arises when people who are passionate about the same thing are in the same room. It was there that the news came: our colleague Daniel Andersson was named Umbraco MVP for 2026.

Daniel is a solution architect and Umbraco expert at Toxic and has long contributed to the Swedish Umbraco community, among other things through Umbracokalaset and by sharing knowledge via talks and articles. The MVP title is awarded once a year to those who go above and beyond in their contributions to the community. This can involve everything from helping others in forums and giving talks to building packages or starting new initiatives. At this year's Codegarden, Daniel was named Umbraco MVP, one of the most prestigious awards within the Umbraco community.
The motivation reads:
"Your focus on making work fun and collaborative captures exactly the friendly spirit we value in this community. We are deeply impressed by your work with Umbracokalaset. Revitalizing the Swedish community and creating a welcoming place for others to meet is a great achievement. Your efforts to share practical knowledge through talks about Umbraco Cloud and articles about version 17 have truly helped others grow. It is clear that you care about making the ecosystem accessible to everyone and we are more than happy to welcome you as a new MVP!"
Comment from Daniel:
"Wow! What an incredible honour to receive the Umbraco MVP award! It feels huge to be one of four Swedes named Umbraco MVP this year. So great to see the Swedish community growing once again. A big thank you to the entire Umbraco community and everyone who has supported me over the years and made this possible. Mange tak!"

SEO for B2B – how to reach the right decision-makers in search results
Working with SEO for B2B is a completely different playing field than optimizing for consumers. The decision-making process is longer, more people are involved, and each deal is often worth much more. This means that every click from the right person can be invaluable, while the wrong traffic risks being a waste of time. At Toxic, we work daily with B2B companies and know how to tailor the strategy to reach the decision-makers who can make decisions.
