Furhoffs Rostfria needed a modern B2B e-commerce platform that could handle complex product configurations and streamline order flows. Toxic developed a customized solution based on Litium with integration to the business system Monitor G5, which among other things solves automated management of prices, inventory levels, and customer-specific agreements. The result is a scalable e-commerce platform with improved UX, faster order processing, and search engine optimized product structure – tailored for industrial sales online.
The customer's challenge
Before the collaboration with us at Toxic, Furhoffs Rostfria had a certain limitation in the integration between their business systems and web solutions, which led to a need for manual updates. Their previous website was mainly informational, and customers had no opportunity to configure products themselves.
Furhoffs Rostfria needed a solution that allowed customers to customize and configure products online, save the data, and access relevant technical information and documentation.

Our solution
The task was to create a modern and user-friendly website on Litium 8 that meets Furhoffs Rostfria's specific needs. The platform includes a customer portal where customers can log in and work with project baskets. The website makes it easy for customers to configure their products, retrieve technical information and documentation, and submit inquiries to Furhoffs online. The new solution enhances the customer experience and streamlines workflows.

Toxic and Furhoffs Rostfria have together created a modern and user-friendly design that gives a professional and appealing impression. The navigation has been improved, making the website more user-friendly. - Implemented a new PIM in Litium
The Product Information Management (PIM) in Litium has been rebuilt by Toxic. This has led to the PIM having a new structure to meet Furhoffs' needs. The product information has been restructured to provide customers with better overview, the ability to configure products, and access to relevant product data and technical documentation. Toxic has also created a new structure for the categories where products can now be linked to both product category and business area. - Integrated Monitor G5
Toxic has improved the integration between the company's business system and the website to enable smoother handling of product information and inquiries, making it easier for customers to get the information they need. The new integration allows for relevant information to be synchronized directly between the systems, resulting in a more efficient workflow and ensuring that correct and up-to-date information is displayed on the web. All of this together makes the solution very advanced.
Our new platform, developed by Toxic, is an important part of our overall digitalization journey at Furhoffs. It is crucial for us to have a solution that not only supports us in creating improved content but also gives us the opportunity to match our products with our customers' specific project needs. Kläppen's previous website was built in Episerver, with a license that expires in 2026. This created a clear need to find a new solution that was both sustainable in the long term and cost-effective.
