Readly faced challenges with high workloads in their marketing department and discovered Toxic through Design Emergency. Despite having a strong internal team, they needed external help to manage their larger campaigns, and that's where Toxic stepped in to support. We at Toxic produced a film for their summer campaign with the goal of increasing customer conversion and reaching a wider audience.

The customer's challenge

With a small but efficient marketing department, Readly wanted to collaborate with a partner who could complement their team as needed and deliver professional content quickly and efficiently. The challenge was to maintain productivity without compromising quality, while also wanting to tailor their content to different channels and formats.

About Readly

Readly is a digital subscription service that provides unlimited access to thousands of magazines and newspapers in an app. The company was founded in 2012 by Joel Wikell and launched in Sweden in 2013. Today, Readly is the market leader in Europe in its category and collaborates with over 1,200 publishers, giving users in more than 50 countries access to 7,700 titles.

Our solution

To meet Readly's needs, Toxic created a film in multiple formats with flexible content, tailored for different digital platforms. Toxic was given free rein to develop a template together with Readly, which Readly could then adjust to suit different target audiences and campaigns. During the process, we had regular check-ins, and the film was continuously improved through several iterations based on their feedback.

The best part of the collaboration was the frequent check-ins and being able to work directly with a marketing department that really knew what they were doing. They knew what they wanted and were clear in their communication, which made the process both smooth and enjoyable. It didn't just feel like a delivery but like a close collaboration. I really appreciated the trust Readly showed and the freedom we were given.

Through the good collaboration with Toxic, Readly received a flexible solution that could be adapted to their needs. The versatile film formats and flexible content made it easier for Readly's marketing department to reach more customers, while the high quality of the content contributed to a stronger campaign. Thanks to the close collaboration, Toxic was able to deliver quickly and efficiently, something that Readly appreciated and which led to positive results and increased customer conversion.

Having direct contact with Toxic and their designers made the collaboration smooth and efficient. No requests were too difficult for Toxic to fulfill, and through regular check-ins, a final product was delivered that we are very satisfied with.

Furhoffs Rostfria needed a modern B2B e-commerce platform that could handle complex product configurations and streamline order flows.
