Gather the group's websites without blurring the brands
When several companies and brands coexist in the same group, the digital environment often grows with them. Different CMS, technologies, and working methods make the web harder to manage and develop. We help groups create a common digital structure where companies can share technology and functionality, while each brand retains its own identity.

Industrireklam and Weland
The companies within the Weland Group worked in different CMS, which led to fragmented structures and inefficient workflows. At the same time, the companies had different needs and graphic profiles that needed to be accommodated even in a common solution.
The solution landed in two tracks. The first is Weland Light, a common Umbraco template for companies with similar needs. Changes in the template are rolled out to all websites, and new sites can be built faster as more companies join the platform. The other track is custom sites for companies with their own brands or more specific requirements. The collaboration has also grown into an ongoing partnership around the digital development of the Weland Group.
Atle
Atle had four separate websites on different platforms for its independent fund managers, which made the digital environment harder to maintain and develop. We consolidated the websites into a unified Umbraco solution where the managers can share structure and unified information, while each brand retains its own identity and content.
The solution is also built to grow as new fund managers join Atle.
Wismo Automotive
Wismo Automotive needed to manage over 90 dealer websites while the existing solution in Umbraco 7 had reached the end of its lifespan.
We built a new solution in Umbraco Cloud where central information can be managed collectively and updated across all sites, while each dealer has the opportunity to customize their own content.
A unified foundation without everything needing to look the same
Collecting the group's websites is not about all companies having the same site. It's about avoiding the need to build and maintain the same functionality multiple times. With a common technical foundation, companies can share things like structure, components, integrations, and functionality, while each brand retains its own graphic profile and content. Common updates can be made centrally, and new companies can be connected without each website needing to be built from scratch.
We see examples of this at both Atle and Weland, where several brands are gathered in the same technical structure but still get to be different brands. For the group, this means better control, more efficient management, and a digital structure that is easier to scale as the business grows.
We have helped several corporations consolidate websites and brands into a common structure. The important thing is not that everything looks the same, but to find the right areas to share. When technology, functionality, and management can be combined in a smart way, it becomes easier to both develop existing websites and add new companies as the corporation grows.

Frequently asked questions about corporate websites
It doesn't have to happen all at once. A unified structure can be built to allow companies to join gradually. How the transition is best made depends on what the group's existing websites and systems look like, which we will map out together before we set the plan.
On the contrary, the ability to maintain each brand's identity is an important part of the solution. A unified technical foundation does not mean that all websites need to look the same. Structure and functionality can be shared while the companies retain their own graphic profile and their own content.
The starting point is what creates the most value to gather. We therefore begin by mapping the existing environment and identifying what should be unified, what needs to be unique, and how any potential consolidation can be best implemented.
It depends on what your current structure looks like. The benefit lies primarily in the fact that unified elements do not need to be handled separately on each website. For example, at Weland, changes in the unified template can be rolled out to multiple websites, which reduces the need to do the same work multiple times.
Absolutely! One of the major advantages of a unified and scalable structure is that it can be built to grow together with the corporation. When a new company or brand is added, there is already a technical foundation to build from, instead of each new website needing to start from scratch.
