The interest in digital accessibility is growing rapidly, and many companies are now seeking guidance to meet new requirements – but also to create a more inclusive digital experience. At Toxic, this is clearly evident.
– We’re seeing more and more companies wanting to understand what applies to them and how it affects their business. Interest has increased significantly,” says Emelie Kristoffersson, Business Developer at Toxic Interactive Solutions.
From Analysis to Action Plan
Many clients wonder where to start. We work with companies that haven’t actively addressed accessibility before but recognize the need. Our accessibility analyses provide an important starting point – a tool to identify gaps and set a clear path forward.
– At Toxic, we help our clients prioritize the right actions by first mapping the current situation and developing concrete recommendations. Then we implement the improvements together with the client, step by step. Throughout the process, we provide guidance and advice. Often, small changes can make a big difference,” Emelie continues.
Real-World Examples: Aim’n and AcadeMedia
Two recent projects show how companies in different industries benefit from our expertise. Aim’n completed an accessibility analysis and received a comprehensive report with protocols, gap analyses, and recommendations, followed by advisory support in a follow-up meeting. AcadeMedia, working with a different agency, engaged us as an independent expert partner for analysis, guidance, and actionable next steps.
– We chose Toxic for their deep expertise in accessibility and their ability to combine technical precision with practical guidance. Their services were clearly structured, making both the process and results easy to understand. The accessibility analysis we received gave us a valuable basis for prioritizing the right actions and strengthening our digital accessibility efforts. Toxic provided a well-organized framework, making it easy for us to implement improvements,” says Fanny Lundberg, E-Commerce Specialist & Team Lead at Aim’n.
That companies turn to Toxic even when we’re not responsible for their entire digital solution is a testament to the trust they place in our specialist knowledge.
What Do Clients Ask For?
Many companies are unsure how accessibility legislation affects them, what is required, and what should be prioritized. Common issues include technical code gaps, insufficient color contrast, missing alt-texts or translations, and the need to improve editorial content.
We help clarify the requirements, explain standards like WCAG AA, and give clients a clear view of what can be addressed immediately versus what requires more extensive efforts.
A Trusted Partner in a Long-Term Effort
Clients value not only the reports but also the personal support.
– Toxic makes it as simple as possible to understand what needs to be done. We create confidence through our experience and commitment. We’ve been working on accessibility for years and are passionate about inclusion,” says Emelie.
At Toxic, we view accessibility as a long-term effort. We aim to be a partner that both existing and new clients can rely on and grow with.
