Background

When we started working with Lindab in early 2022, their visibility on Google was good, but there were several actions to take for further improvements. The goal was to increase the number of top positions and ensure that Lindab became the obvious choice when customers search for construction and ventilation products.

The challenge

The challenge was to get both Lindab's existing and new customers to find their products on Google. With a large assortment and many technical keywords, Lindab needed a strategy that made the products visible already in the search results.

The solution

We developed an SEO strategy focused on optimizing product pages and category pages within construction – such as metal roofs, edge flashing, and roof drainage – and strengthened key ventilation categories such as diffusers, supply air units, branch pipes, etc. At the same time, we worked on ongoing technical SEO to improve the site's structure.

More top placements (positions 1–3)

The number of top positions has increased from 569 to 883 – an increase of 55%. The website is now more often seen at the very top of search results, which strengthens both visibility and organic traffic.

More keywords on Google's first page (positions 1–10)

The visibility on Google's first page has grown from 1,176 to 2,016 keywords (+71%). This means that more potential customers are finding the website already in the first search step.

Broader coverage in important areas

The rankings have been broadened in construction products, ventilation, and sustainability, which strengthens the position in the company's most central subject areas.

 

Increased visibility in different search intents

Clear growth in information-driven, commercial, and transactional keywords, indicating that the website is now reaching users at all stages of the buying journey.

The effect

In three years, Lindab has more than doubled the number of keywords on Google's first page. Thanks to a long-term SEO effort with Toxic, Lindab is now at the top of Google for both central products and new innovative solutions – thereby strengthening its digital position in the industry.
