Stepping into Ravema is like entering a world of precision, technical expertise, and strong long-term customer relationships. With over a century of experience, Ravema has grown to become one of the leading industrial partners in the Nordics with a vision not only to provide its customers with products but also with knowledge and support that empower them for the future.

From bicycles to advanced industrial technology

Ravema's history began in 1912 under the name Svenska Maskinaffären, a time when the business primarily focused on bicycle and car sales. In the 1980s, the company changed its name to Ravema and, with a growing product portfolio and a strong owner behind them, they survived one of Sweden's toughest recessions. Today, Ravema is part of LMT Group and works in close collaboration with Hoffman Group, a global supplier that accounts for a large part of their range.

A close relationship with customers

Ravema's recipe for success is based on their close relationships with customers and a customer-tailored product range. Their main areas are cutting machining, measurement technology, as well as industrial furnishings and workplace equipment. With a strong presence throughout the Nordic region, Ravema offers a "one-stop shop" concept that both simplifies for the customer and ensures they get the right tools for their specific needs.

“We ensure that our staff has solid product expertise to transfer it to our customers. The goal is to find solutions that not only satisfy an urgent need but also increase efficiency and quality for our customers,” says Anders Jinglöv, Business Area Manager Tools. This means close collaboration where the customer's needs drive the product – sometimes it starts with a special tool that then develops into a standard product.

Innovation and technological leaps

The industry is changing rapidly and Ravema always strives to be at the forefront. "In the last five to ten years, we have seen a huge technological shift from three-axis machines to five-axis and automated processes. The new technology allows for processing details in a single clamping, which improves productivity and saves time for the customer," explains Anders Jinglöv.

Automation solutions are also a growing trend, where Ravema can offer flexible automation systems that are equally effective for small batches as for large series. Their goal is to create a sustainable, efficient, and future-proof production for customers.

A sustainable future

Ravema actively works to contribute to a more sustainable industrial sector. The company is certified according to ISO 14000 and focuses on minimizing its own environmental impact, among other things, through solar panels on the roof and an increasing share of electric and hybrid cars in the vehicle fleet. Through its collaboration with Hoffman Group, they have also managed to reduce the number of printed catalogs, which has made a clear impact on both the environment and customers' views on sustainability.

“Sustainability is an integral part of our work, and we make sure to stay updated on both certifications and new environmentally friendly solutions,” says Henrik Törnqvist, Chief Digital Officer. “We work with electrified transport solutions and sustainable shipments, which fits into our customers' and our environmental thinking.”

“We want to create value and strengthen the Nordic industry”

Going forward, Ravema wants to strengthen its position as the leading industrial partner in the Nordics with a new own webshop, developed by Toxic, where Hoffman Group provides a large part of the assortment. The webshop will be a strategic hub for Ravema, where the customer experience can be improved with customized filters and advanced search functions that optimize product searches for the Nordic market. Through a new CRM system, Ravema will also be able to offer deeper customer insights and tailored marketing campaigns. “We want to continue creating value for our customers by developing innovative solutions and maintaining a high level of service. Our purpose is to facilitate Nordic industrial companies to stand strong in the global market,” says Henrik Törnqvist.

For Ravema, growth and development are two sides of the same coin. The employees are their greatest asset, and strong internal training creates a culture of continuous learning and innovation. “We are proud of our employees and the knowledge they possess. It is their commitment and willingness to grow that drives Ravema forward,” adds Anders Jinglöv.

A partner that sees the big picture

With a steady focus on understanding the customer's business, Ravema can deliver solutions that are not only qualitative but also profitable and sustainable. Their business philosophy is based on long-term relationships and a commitment to contributing to a stronger Nordic industry.

In Ravema's world, the partnership with the customer is as important as the product itself – for it is through collaboration and understanding the customer's needs that they achieve their goal: to be a leading industrial partner in the Nordics today and tomorrow.
