Get more out of your SEO – simple adjustments for better visibility

Do you want more people to find your website? Here are some practical SEO tips that you can start with today to increase your visibility and give your digital presence a boost.

1. Write titles that make people want to click

The search result is often the first impression, and your title is what determines whether someone clicks on your page or not. Placing your keyword early in the title makes it more relevant, while keeping it short and clear at 50–60 characters is a good guideline. To stand out, think about what would make you click. A title like "SEO tips for businesses" is fairly generic, for example, while "7 SEO hacks for businesses — how to rank higher on Google" is more likely to catch attention.

2. Target the right keywords — and stop guessing

Trying to rank for broad terms like "marketing" can be an uphill battle, but using more specific phrases like "digital marketing for B2B" can get you better results faster. One way to find the right keywords is to see what Google itself suggests when you start typing a search phrase. You can also scroll down to "Related searches" in the results or use free tools like Google Search Console to understand what visitors are searching for on your website.

3. Make sure your content answers the right questions

Google's goal is to give users the best answers, and if your page doesn't do that it won't rank highly. Good content is clear and concrete, tailored to the visitor's needs and structured with short paragraphs and clear headings. If you want to attract customers, simply talking about your company isn't enough — you need to give them insights, tips and real value.

4. Help visitors find their way with smart internal links

To help both Google and your visitors navigate your website, use smart internal links. By linking between related pages — for example from an article to a service page — you create a clear structure. Use anchor text that describes the content, such as "Learn more about SEO strategies" rather than "Read more".

5. Update old content instead of starting from scratch

If you have pages that used to perform well but have lost visitors, an update can make a big difference. Add current information, new statistics and concrete examples. Improve titles and meta descriptions to increase click-through rates, and make sure all links are working — broken links can harm your SEO. Many people underestimate the power of optimising existing content, but it's often faster and more effective than creating something new from scratch.

6. A fast website = happier visitors + better SEO

Nobody wants to wait for a slow page — and neither does Google. By compressing images, removing unnecessary code and using caching, you can significantly improve load times. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights can help you identify what needs to be optimised, and if you need further support a digital agency can help.

SEO is an ongoing process, but you don't need to do everything at once. By starting with these simple steps you can quickly start to see improvements and build a stronger digital presence.

Ad copy that converts: what actually makes a difference

Most people who want to improve their ads start off wrong. They rewrite headlines, change images, test new CTAs. And sure, that can have an effect, but that's rarely where the big difference lies. When an ad doesn't convert, it's often because something in the chain after the click isn't working. The ad is just the beginning. This is what actually determines whether an ad converts.
