2025 has been a year full of movement at Toxic. New colleagues have joined our teams, taken their place in the projects, and quickly become a part of the culture that makes us who we are.
We’ve welcomed eight new colleagues
This year has brought more projects, more collaborations, and more people into our teams. Growth means change - but it’s been clear how naturally our new colleagues have become part of Toxic. Whether working in design, development, or project management, they’ve contributed experience, energy, and perspectives that strengthen what we already stand for.
This year, we’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming back Sebastian Pierre - a full-stack developer with over ten years of experience, a passion for problem-solving, and a daily life that balances family and fitness. Another great addition is Casandra Utas Schweisshelm, a project manager with a strong sense of structure and a home filled with Duplo towers and family life.
In our development teams, Petter Fogel has joined as a front-end developer with a passion for creative solutions, and Linus Johansson brings curiosity and strong engagement - from exploring new technologies to organizing after-work game nights. Peter Rydetorp and Christopher Henricsson have also strengthened our system development capabilities: Peter with his calm and sense of responsibility, and Christopher with his problem-solving skills and sharp eye for risks.
Among this year’s additions is also Josef Petersson, a UX/UI designer with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail. And last but not least, Josef Kajaji has joined the project management team - a relationship-driven and solution-focused colleague who is passionate about bringing structure, direction, and clarity to projects.

Drive, ideas, and curiosity in everyday work
In design, Josef Petersson describes how exciting and rewarding it is to “design websites that enhance the user experience while supporting the client’s business goals and needs.” His daily work includes analysis, improvements, and shaping new ideas - something he finds highly rewarding.
In development, Petter Fogel describes his first time here as very inspiring, filled with positive impressions. He adds: “What gives me the most energy is my colleagues and the opportunity to unwind outside of work.” Linus Johansson has also had a dynamic start, describing it as inspiring, with “a lot to learn” - but always fun, thanks to engaged colleagues and new technologies to explore.
Project management has also been strengthened this year. Casandra describes her role as “creating structure and a sense of security so both clients and teams can thrive in projects,” and highlights the warm welcome she received. Josef Kajaji explains that his role is about creating structure, driving projects forward, and ensuring the team has the best possible conditions to succeed.
Within development, the new additions have made a clear impact. Peter Rydetorp continues working with tailored systems and EntityFlow, noting how naturally the team has found its rhythm. Sebastian Pierre says what feels especially rewarding about being back is “seeing everything that has evolved and improved.” Christopher Henricsson appreciates that “Toxic has managed to keep its core base and all functions local here in Jönköping, creating a diverse workplace,” something he hasn’t experienced in a long time.
A culture you feel from day one
It only takes a conversation with a few of our new colleagues to understand how quickly the Toxic culture makes an impact. A common theme emerges: the sense of community. For many, that’s what stands out most compared to previous workplaces.
Casandra describes a strong team spirit present in everything - a culture that isn’t just talked about, but truly lived. She says she felt at home within just a few weeks. Josef Kajaji shares the same experience:
“It’s an incredibly welcoming and unpretentious culture where people genuinely care about each other. You quickly feel like part of the team, and it’s clear that people enjoy working here. The combination of a great atmosphere, humor, and a willingness to help each other makes the workdays both easy and meaningful.”
Josef Petersson highlights how warmly he was welcomed and how structured onboarding gave him a strong start - one of the main reasons he chose to stay. Sebastian echoes this, saying:
“The sense of community and engagement really stands out. It’s something that’s hard to force - and here it feels completely natural (still).”
Linus captures what many experience in everyday work: the importance of “truly feeling like part of a team that supports and lifts each other.” Petter adds:
“What stands out is the culture, the creativity, and how encouraging everyone is.”
Together, their voices paint a picture of a culture that isn’t just visible - it’s something you feel from day one.
Projects that inspire
Many of our new colleagues have already found projects that stand out. In design, Josef Petersson highlights Ravinen as one of the year’s highlights - a project with inspiring visual material and great client collaboration.
Infranord is frequently mentioned across both project management and development. Josef Kajaji and Sebastian Pierre describe it as particularly rewarding due to the combination of challenges and close client collaboration. For Sebastian, it’s also exciting to return to a project he previously worked on and now see it on a completely new scale.
Others are driven more by technology than by specific cases. Linus highlights projects using Next.js as especially enjoyable, as he really enjoys the framework. Peter continues to deepen his expertise in EntityFlow - an area he’s eager to develop further.
A year of growth together
Looking back at the year, it’s clear that our new colleagues have not only become part of Toxic - they’ve also helped shape it. They’ve brought new perspectives, created energy in projects, and strengthened what makes us who we are.
With that momentum behind us, we’re heading into the next year with continued curiosity and a strong sense that something truly exciting lies ahead.
