Svensk Camping

Svensk Camping, formerly known as SCR, underwent a comprehensive rebranding. In connection with the launch of a new graphic identity, Toxic was tasked with developing a new website built on Umbraco Cloud. The result is a modern and informative digital platform that strengthens Svensk Camping's communication and creates better reach for both the industry and the organization's members.

Svensk Camping is the industry organization for Sweden's camping industry and works to gather, develop, and make the industry visible. In connection with the organization creating a new graphic identity, the need for a website that better reflects the new visual expression and simultaneously meets today's demands for functionality, structure, and user experience arose.

The previous website was therefore replaced with a new solution that can handle large amounts of content and serve as a clear information platform for both industry players and members.

The goal

The goal of the project was to create a modern, editor-friendly, and cost-effective website that is easy to further develop over time. The platform needed to be able to gather news, articles, and industry information in a more accessible way, while also improving the user experience.

An important part was also to create better digital spaces for member companies and give partners increased visibility, without compromising on structure or clarity.

Design & user experience

The website is based on the new graphic profile of Svensk Camping and has been developed with a strong focus on user-friendliness. The design work had a strong focus on the desktop experience in the early phases of the project, where structure, content, and visual expression were established, and has since been further developed and adapted for different screen sizes and devices. The goal was to create an experience that feels both modern and easy to navigate, where the new identity can take center stage while the information is easy to find.

Technology & platform

The new website is built in Umbraco Cloud and replaces an older solution in Episerver. The platform is designed to be scalable, cost-effective, and easy for editors to work in. The solution includes a more modern news feed, improved user experience, as well as a digital industry magazine and a member portal where logged-in member companies can access documents, statistics, and other industry-specific information. The platform also provides Svensk Camping's partners with greater visibility and makes it possible to present facts and figures about the industry's development in a more accessible way.

The platform makes it easier to manage large amounts of content, improves the user experience, and creates better accessibility to industry information for both members and external target groups.

We at Toxic were entrusted to help Kläppen Ski Resort at a strategically important stage, where their existing web platform needed to be reviewed for the future. SP Machines

Together with SP Maskiner, we have launched a new webshop built on Umbraco Commerce that addresses previous technical challenges and delivers a fast and user-friendly experience. The solution handles orders for spare parts and aggregates smoothly and is built to meet SP Maskiner's current and future needs. When SP Maskiner later upgraded its business system from Monitor G4 to Monitor G5, they also took the opportunity to modernize the integration solution. With EntityFlow as the integration engine, a more scalable and robust integration platform was created that ensures stable data flows between the webshop and the business system.

ILCO

ILCO Intestinal, Urological and Stoma Association, a nationwide patient organization for people with diseases or functional changes in the intestines and urinary tract, has launched a new platform in Umbraco 13 together with Toxic. The new website makes it easier to recruit members, conduct advocacy work, and spread knowledge to both patients and relatives – while being built for sustainability with modern technology and an improved user experience.
