When Konradssons Kakel took the next step in its digital development, the goal was to create a modern and inspiring web experience that meets customers' needs today. Together with Toxic, a new digital platform was developed on Litium Storefront, where inspiration, product information, and flexibility are at the center.

The assignment

Toxic was tasked with designing and developing a new digital platform in Litium, where CMS and PIM are combined in a common solution based on Toxic Storefront. The goal was to create a website that makes it easy for visitors to find their way through a comprehensive range of products while also being inspired, which required a thoughtful structure, clear navigation, and a natural connection between inspiration and products.

About Konradssons Kakel

Konradssons Kakel is one of Sweden's leading suppliers of tiles, ceramics, and ceramic solutions for both private homes and public environments. The company was founded in 1968 in Jönköping, where the headquarters and central warehouse still exist today. Since its inception, the business has grown from a local specialty store to a nationwide player with its own tile and bathroom stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Jönköping, as well as a wide network of retailers across the country.

A structure was developed to make it easy to navigate a comprehensive range. Through a well-thought-out information architecture and filtering options, visitors can find relevant products based on, for example, size, shape, and area of use.

Inspiration related to products

For many, the journey begins in inspiration rather than in a specific product. Therefore, inspirational images and environments were connected more closely to the products, which helps the user move from idea to concrete choice and strengthens the visual experience of the brand.

When Norrviken wanted to strengthen its digital presence, Toxic was entrusted to create a unified web platform, built in Umbraco, that elevates their entire operation – with the park and visitor experience at the center. The new solution makes it easier to inspire, inform, and guide visitors year-round. As part of the platform, Toxic has also developed an e-commerce solution in Umbraco Commerce, integrated with the business system HiCore via our integration engine EntityFlow.

Skandinaviska Områdesskydd

Skandinaviska Områdesskydd is one of Sweden's largest installation companies in area protection. To meet today's demands and future needs, they chose to invest in a completely new digital platform together with us at Toxic. The goal was to create an efficient, editor-friendly, and future-proof solution on Litium, which supports both B2B and B2C businesses.

ILCO Intestinal, Urological and Stoma Association, a nationwide patient organization for people with diseases or functional changes in the intestines and urinary tract, has launched a new platform in Umbraco 13 together with Toxic. The new website makes it easier to recruit members, conduct advocacy work, and spread knowledge to both patients and relatives – while being built for sustainability with modern technology and an improved user experience.

Industri Belos, part of the Indutrade group and market leader in ground-based water and sewage in Sweden, has collaborated with Toxic to digitize its product management and built a new website on Litium PIM and CMS. The result is a structured and scalable platform that streamlines work and enables expansion to more markets.

Through long-term SEO efforts, Lindab.se has gone from limited visibility to top rankings on Google. Together with Toxic, they have strengthened their presence for both construction and ventilation products and established themselves as a clearer digital force in the industry.

SP Machines

Together with SP Maskiner, we have launched a new webshop built on Umbraco Commerce that addresses previous technical challenges and delivers a fast and user-friendly experience. The solution handles orders for spare parts and aggregates smoothly and is built to meet SP Maskiner's current and future needs. When SP Maskiner later upgraded its business system from Monitor G4 to Monitor G5, they also took the opportunity to modernize the integration solution. With EntityFlow as the integration engine, a more scalable and robust integration platform was created that ensures stable data flows between the webshop and the business system.
